LOGAN, Utah-
Last Thursday, January 31, a meeting- house for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was burglarized. Sheriff Deputy Geoffrey Hastey arrested two individuals that are suspects of the crime. One of the suspects is 35 year-old Jim Michaels. The other suspect is a 15-year old juvenile and they are not yet releasing that name. District Attorney, Noel Mayfield stated that "Michaels is facing six months to one year for the burglary". Noel also stated, "I am going to seek for the maximum rule under the law because they have past records."
Defense Attorney for Michaels, Robbie Cochran doesn’t believe that there was sufficient evidence for the case. Cochran stated that they can establish where Michaels was the night of the crime. The trial date for Jim Michaels will take place on March 25, 2008 under the ruling of Judge Alan Mayfield, no relation to Noel Mayfield.

You definitely put a lot of good information in there, but the inverted pyramid was not used very well here. You talked about the crime more than the court case which was the story. Other than that it was really good. I liked it.
