Burglary at LDS Church
A meeting house for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was broken into sometime yesterday. Robert (Bob) Knots was the first to discover what had happened. Bob Knots arrived at the meeting house on the corner of 900 North and 1600 East in Logan, Utah, around 6 a.m. Bob went to unlock the door but found that it was already unlocked. He then entered into the building to find two computer monitors smashed on the floor and that is when he immediately called the police. Sheriff Deputy Geoffrey Hastey was the first official on the scene. Hastey said that it is assumed that the burglar(s) entered through a window because there was no vandalism on the building itself. Hastey assumes that the individual entered through a window that was left open. The window was quite high and would require more than one person to reach the height of it so he assumes that someone entered into the window and then let others in through the door. The burglars then took two UPC’s and monitors leaving the keyboards behind but on the way to the door dropped the monitors. Bishop Lawrence (Larry) Shirk, of the Hillcrest 1st Ward, said that they had just renewed those machines and had cleared all confidential information to the new UPC’s. Evelyn Breathwaite, community member, said that she has lived in the neighborhood for many years and still feels safe in this community regardless of this crime.

Great story. the part about the window being high is a little awkward but the rest is good. nice work!
Amy,
You make things flow nicely, I appreciate that I can follow your story. There were a couple things, like I think that they are called "CPU's" not UPC's unless of course I am dislexic and that is quite possisble haha. At any rate, you did awesome!
Hey good job. It all seemed to go together well and was easy to follow, just a few spelling errors I guess.
